PostgreSQL 8.3 vs. 8.4

PostgreSQL 8.3 is indeed outdated, but it is what CZ runs on (see Special:Version). Correct me if I'm wrong, but using the updated version could potentially allow you to do things that won't work on the live wiki. I would therefore suggest installing 8.3 anyway. The 8.3 branch is still officially updated, and was updated as recently as March. --Chris Key 18:00, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
