Significant debate regarding how to implement this has transpired[1]. As of May 2010, it still appears no consensus has been reached regarding keeping these pages.
A large number of "subpages" currently exist to store this data, and reuse it on other "pages" as well. In particular, Periodic table of elements, Alkali_metal/Properties, {{Periodic Table of Properties}}, and similar articles/pages/templates seem to benefit from this technique.
