The purpose of the Health Sciences Workgroup is to coordinate the community of experts and non-experts alike on improving Citizendium articles related to the health sciences, including the practice of medicine and the allied health sciences. All people are invited to help out! Authors interested in this workgroup can add Category:Health Sciences Authors to their user page. Don't forget to look at our forum!

Workgroup News and Milestones

• March 30, 2007

Now that we have launched Citizendium, we are beginning to review applications to be a health sciences editor. At this time, in keeping with the initial concept of an editor possessing the qualifications to be a tenured faculty member in the field, that means that health sciences editors must possess the qualifications that would allow at least a senior faculty position at a professional school of health sciences in the relevant discipline. The editors of health science articles have a special role in approval, and in guiding developing articles by being willing to answer questions and advise in the classic role of editors everywhere.
