This page outlines the requirements for a public launch of the project. The target launch date has not been announced, but will fall in the early part of 2007.

Technical

Hardware

The technical team needs to specify hardware requirements for the Citizendium Project's first 6 months in operation, which needs to bought.

Software

  1. Investigate and test PostGRE SQL 8.2 (possibly install)
  2. Design Wikipedia Update system
  3. Automate personnel tasks
  4. Fix major layout and SQL bugs, as well as the category and special page bugs.
  5. Automatically hide or remove interwikis
  6. Design approval system (at least a temporary version)
  7. Images.

Administrative

  1. Handle functions related to Tides Center affiliation

  9. Approved Articles: at least 10, with half of them coming from articles that were not featured articles or good articles on Wikipedia.
