Adinath Lokeshwar Mandir (The first Lord, our Lord Buddha temple) is a temple sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists in the village Chobar, located 6 km outside Kathmandu in Nepal. The temple, dedicated to the red (rato) Machhendranath, was originally built in the 15th century, and then rebuilt in 1640. Some newlyweds believe that fixing a metal utensil to its walls will ensure a happy marriage.
