Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at CZ:Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via the Citizendium-L (broadcast) mailing list (do join!) and the blog. Please also join the workgroup mailing list(s) that concern your particular interests. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forums is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any constable for help, too. Me, for instance! Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun! D. Matt Innis 23:46, 8 October 2010 (UTC)

Olá! as we say in Portugal. Just noticed you for the first time. Let me know if you want any copyediting. Whatever, have a good time here. Ro Thorpe 01:19, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Hi and welcome!

Hi Guillermo!

I enjoyed reading your new entry on Cervantes, a writer about whom I know woefully little. You've inpired me to put down what little I know about Don Quixote and Man of La Mancha. I did once see the late Rudolf Nureyev dance the lead in Kitri's Wedding. It was phenominal! Welcome to CZ!

If you're a music lover (and who isn't?) try listening to 'The Impossible Dream' (the Quest) and 'I, Don Quixote' from Man of La Mancha. 'The Impossible Dream' is one of those 'goof proof' songs - if you can just stay on pitch, it will be well-received no matter how modest a singer you are. Aleta Curry 00:16, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

Spanish

Hi, and welcome. Recently I removed the Wikipedia material from our Spanish language article so that we could create an original work. There are a few points there, but it could do with additions from interested contributors. For example, there is a section that describes the different varieties of Spanish around the world, but so far only mentions the Philippines! It needs some explanation about pronunciations, vocabulary and grammar associated with Spanish in Spain, for instance. So, you are most welcome to edit it John Stephenson 04:42, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
