CGS Canada was a fishery protection vessel built in 1940.[1]
She was transferred to the brand new Royal Canadian Navy.[1]
After World War I she returned to fishery patrols, and was sold out of government service in 1920.[1] She was laid up for four years, then spent two years serving as a ferry in the Gulf of Mexico.
She sank, off Islamorada.[1] Divers located her wreckage in 35 fathoms of water.
