I am currently in a dual high school/college program in Texas and thrive on taking advanced math courses. I'm starting research in the university's Materials Science and Engineering department, working on tribology of thin films, and have begun with introductory coursework in an array of sciences (I completed biology and chemistry, and will start physics next semester). I sometimes play the trumpet and often can be found reading a good book, my favorite of which is The Fountainhead. I intend to double major in aerospace engineering and materials science, and will begin applying to undergraduate programs this year.
