I am a long-time polyglot computer programmer, single mom and voracious, omnivorous reader. My hobbies are genealogy and family history, gardening, fractal art and the above-mentioned reading. My educational background (long, long ago) is in biology, chemistry and computer science. I have a personal interest in Carl Friedrich Gauss and his descendants in the US, of which I am one.
