I am an enthusiastic user and editor of Wikipedia and have written a little bit about myself and my writing philosophy on my user page there: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Peter_Chastain. Wikipedia's great strength - its huge number of contributors with their vast store of knowledge - is also its weakness: quality-control problems. As I write this (31 July 2009), I do not yet have enough experience with Citizendium to know how well its model (less information, higher quality) works, but I would imagine that there is a need for both approaches. I do know that, as a non-expert, I can help experts make their writing more understandable and even more factually correct. I look forward to finding ways to contribute to this project.
