Matthew G Whalley holds a Ph.D in Psychology from University College London and BSc from the University of Newcastle. He specialises in the use of hypnosis and suggestion as a tool in research, pain and post-traumatic stress disorder, and uses neuroimaging techniques to explore these topics. He is currently undergoing doctoral training in clinical psychology.
