I hold a Ph.D in Pharmacology & Toxicology. For the last two years, I have been a Post-doctoral researcher at the State University of New York in Stony Brook. My area of research is the Biochemistry of proteins, specifically enzymes called tyrosine kinases. The medical application of this work is in the development of cancer drugs. I received my Bachelor's degree in Genetics in 1995 in India, and My Ph.D in 2004 in the U.S. I have been studying and working in the field of Modern Biology for almost 12 years now. I have had a consistent interest in science and technology. I have tried to stay informed of the developments in several fields. The internet is a rapidly evolving technological tool, and represents a valuable means of education and communication.
