I am a licensed minister and history buff who possesses a Bachelor's degree in Religion from Olivet Nazarene University and a Master of Arts degree in Ministerial Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. Given my education, it is probably obvious that I spend a good portion of my time reading esoteric theology books and attempting to make sense out of the text of the Bible. However, my interests go far beyond simple religion. I have always been an avid reader, and am particularly a fan of World War II era and Revolutionary American history. Two of my personal heroes are President David Dwight Eisenhower (yes, that's really the name he was given at birth) and President John Adams. When I'm not reading or writing, I tend to spend a lot of time with my wife and two young children. Believe it or not, when all of that gives me a chance to breathe, I take the time to follow sports - almost all sports (I even have been known to watch sumo wrestling on ESPN at 3:30 in the morning). Above all else, though, my greatest joy in life comes from pursuing the adventure of participating in God's kingdom and trying to make a difference in the world around me.
