I am a research scientist in the Centre for Integrative Physiology at the University of Edinburgh. I completed a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology at the University of Aberdeen then went on to a PhD at Glasgow Caledonian University. I subsequently did postdoctoral work at the Universities of Strathclyde and Chicago. My research focuses on the physiology of hypothalamic neurones and their role in the regulation of feeding and sexual behaviours.
