I graduated with a B.A. in History and English from the University of Virginia in 2002. I am currently a PhD student in history at the University of Pennsylvania, from which I received an M.A. in history in 2005. I have passed my comprehensive examinations, and am currently working on my dissertation, which is related to 19th century European diplomatic history. I'm also an editor at that other place, where I've done a fair bit of work over the last few years.
