I grew up in the Northern suburbs of Chicago in the '60s and '70s. Educated at Yale University and Reed College (USA), Emerson College (England) and Sunbridge College (USA), I have a M.S. in education. I am currently an adjunct professor of the philosophy of education, a high school math and astronomy teacher and a published writer. My interests are in philosophy (especially epistemology), education and the sciences.

I have lived in many parts of the USA, in England and Scotland, in Hungary and in Switzerland; I am currently located in New York State.
