I work in the business development team at Amazon Web Services. Most of my career has been spent in the life science informatics and software industry as a product manager, consortium director and strategic planner, and I started my career as an algorithm developer/scientific programmer at a bioinformatics company. I have a PhD in physical chemistry, with expertise in quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics and bioinformatics

I spend my free time blogging at business|bytes|genes|molecues and co-founded Bioscreencast.com, a site that allows life scientists to share how they use their favorite software and web resources.
