Chris Smith was born in southeastern Wisconsin on June 19th, 1986 and has lived in Mukwonago, WI since. When he was 14 he started go-karting at Badger Kart Club in Dousman, WI and stopped at age 17 but has wanted to rejoin the association since then. During his youth he developed a passion for working on anything mechanical or moving from his father. After graduating from Mukwonago High School in 2004 Chris directly started his career at Total Comfort of Wisconsin, Inc. He started as a sheet metal apprentice with Milwaukee’s Local 18 and was offered an opportunity to become a Building Automation Programmer. After accepting his offer and withdrawing from the Local 18 he has broadened his knowledge in the field by learning on the job, taking classes, and reading articles relating to HVAC and DDC.

Chris has taken an interest in power sports, technology, mechanics, engineering, project management, drawing, and writing. On his free time he enjoys museums, zoos, and being with his large family.
