Titanic (1997 film)

Titanic was a popular 1997 film set aboard the RMS Titanic on her first and fatal voyage.^[1] The film was very expensive to produce.^[2] Gloom-mongers, citing rumors of acrimony on the set, budget over-runs, and missed schedules, predicted disaster.^[3] They predicted that the only way the film could break even if it turned out to be the highest grossing film in history.
