Subject: Request to use a photograph
Dear sirs:
Your publication "ETE02, IEA Energy Technology Essentials2" at http://www.iea.org/techno/essentials2.pdf includes a photograph of a biomass conversion plant. I am requesting your permission to use that photo in an article I wrote for the Citizendium free online encyclopedia. You may view the article at http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/Biomass and I also plan to write a similar article in the online Encyclopedia of Earth ( www.eoearth.org ).
I am a retired chemical engineer and an unpaid volunteer author of a number of articles in the Citizendium online encyclopedia. if permission is granted, the photo will be clearly attributed to the IEA and Citizendium will abide by any Creative Commons license that you may select.
If you also have a good photograph of a large ethanol refinery in Brazil, I would appreciate receiving it under the same terms regrading attribution and Creative Commons licensing.
Awaiting your response, I am
