My name is Mathilda Thompson and I am currently in my fourth year at the University of Edinburgh studying Medical Biology. My group are going to complete a citizendium on lipostatic hypothesis- this involves looking at the mechanisms of the different hormones and proteins involved in regulating appetite. The two proteins that our project will be mainly involved around are Ghrelin and Leptin as they are extremely important and influential in appetite regulation.
