Dan is a Ph.D. candidate in Media, Technology, and Society at Northwestern University. After receiving a B.A. in Journalism from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China), she moved to the U.S. to attend Marquette University for M.A. in Mass Communication. Her research interests include dynamics of collaborative knowledge development, virtual communities, and blogs.
