My educational background includes a Masters of Fine Arts in theatre design (University of British Columbia, Victoria), BA Honours in English literature and theatre (University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon), a B.Education (University of Manitoba, Winnipeg) plus Berlitz training in teaching English as a foreign language (Vienna). I also attended the University of Vienna for one year, studying German. Part of my professional life (Victoria) was dedicated to teaching and program development for gifted kids. I mentored teachers in training at the University of Victoria and taught summer school classes for teachers of gifted kids at McGill University, Montreal. Our Kids, Your Kids is a pedagogical handbook I co-authored with Randy Kaneen. I am currently retired and living in the south of France.
