This template creates a standard header on pages for individual years.

Usage

Place at the top of year pages; takes on optional standard argument (simply that year), allowing for disambiguation if needed.

Example

Standard header

This is a list of historical events for the year Years that are of general interest.

Custom year

{{years|1984}}

This is a list of historical events for the year 1984 that are of general interest.
