I am a PhD candidate (ABD)in French literature at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. I focus on the marvelous and realism in prose, from the late 17th to 19th centuries. My research interests include the literary fairy tale, the folktale, folklore, literary and cultural history. I also teach French (language, literature, culture.)
