I am a senior Anthropology student at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I have focused my research on the cultural reaction towards mental and physical disabilities in Peruvian society, but I have also done the same investigation in Ghana, West Africa. As of right now, I have studied a wide range of anthropological disciplines, but I hope to focus in on Medical Anthropology in graduate school. I hope one day to make a substantial contribution to the understanding of different cultural reactions towards disabilities, mainly in Peru, but also from cultures all around the world.
