Mark Stanczak was raised in the northeastern United States, attended public school, and went on to receive a bachelor of arts degree in English composition from a liberal arts university. He has since written a handful of articles for local newspapers and worked mainly as a freelance photographer. Mark is currently employed as photo manager for the public affairs department of a private university in the northeastern United States.

He also enjoys tea.
