I am a Consultant with the Government of Jamaica in the areas of Open Source and Information Systems standards. I'm the president of the Jamaica Linux Users Group and an adamant subscriber the the concept and philosophy of open systems; technological and otherwise. I'm currently on hiatus from my pursuit of a PhD in Computer Science. I sit somewhere in the middle of the Computer Science Masters degree. A computer programmer since 1993; I now do my programming mainly for personal projects and the occasional tutoring of undergrads.
