I am Joseph F. Ballesteros from Manila, Philippines. I signed-up an account here at Citizendium to contribute high-quality encyclopedic articles in a more professional way. My first encounter on a wiki-based collaboration is through Wikipedia (my username there is Jojit fb). Currently, I'm not an active contributor at Wikipedia, although, I'm busy being the Vice President of Wikimedia Philippines, which is a local chapter of Wikimedia Foundation in the Philippines. I'm also one of the Board of Trustees of that local chapter.

Professionally, I have been a Systems Analyst and Programmer/Developer in various companies and presently employed as a Web Developer. I received a Bachleor's degree in Computer Data Processing Management from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

My contributions here in Citizendium will not be limited to articles related from my field. I will also contribute Philippine-related articles especially on geographical places in the Philippines.
