I am retired from the USAF (O-5) and the Federal Civil Service (GM-15) and have an interest and some expertise in military history, especially Civil War History - particularly as it pertains to Major General Bryan Grimes of North Carolina. I am interested in the fact that his name does not appear as a General in the Confederacy. He fought throughout the entire war with the Army of Northern Virginia from the Peninsula in Va. to Appomattox and was the last general officer to surrender his troops at Appomattox - Principally the is my first initial interest in becoming involved with citizendium and could not readily find any other means to recommend changes or to point our errors or to inquire about potential errors or decisions made about listing or not listing.
