Voting starts on Friday 10th June, 2011 and will close at midnight Friday 17th June, 2011, Apia, Samoa, time.
Referenda on various proposals will also be voted on at the same time. The proposals may be viewed at:
2011 Referendum
1.) Every Citizen may vote for up to 3 candidates out of the XXX nominees, whose names and position statements can be found here: CZ:Citizendium Ballot for the Management Council.
2.) Citizens may cast only a single vote for each candidate. In other words, they may vote for Tom, Dick, and Harry, but they may not cast 2 votes for Tom and 1 for Dick
3.) Citizens may cast only a single ballot. That is, if they vote for 2 candidates on June 10th, they may not then cast an additional ballot on June 12th for a remaining candidate.
In order to vote:
A.) Each Citizen should look at the various links on the left-hand side of this page and then scroll down to the E-mail this user link quite near the bottom.
B.) Click on that link.
C.) That will open up a page called E-mail user.
D.) In the message box, type in the names of the candidates you are voting for, with one name on each line. For example:
Mary
Bob
Jim
Remember: although you do not have to vote for three candidates, you may not vote for more than three. Any ballots received that name more than three candidates will be invalidated and none of those votes will be counted.
E.) Click on the Send button at the bottom.
And that's it -- you have just cast your secret ballot!
