Urogenital system

The urogenital system, consists of "all the organs involved in reproduction and the formation and release of urine. It includes the kidneys, ureters, bladder; urethra, and the organs of reproduction - ovaries, uterus; Fallopian tubes; vagina; and clitoris in women and the testes; seminal vesicles; prostate; seminal ducts; and penis in men."

The medical specialties of urology address the urogenital systems of men and women, with it being the primary reproductive system specialty for men. For women, gynecology has a similar scope, but with the additional complexities of obstetrics. Various subspecialties, such as reproductive endocrinology, deal with reproductive problems between a man and a woman.
