Tenpin bowling is a sport in which ten skittles are set up as a target at the end of a lane. The player bowls his ball down the lane in an attempt to knock over as many skittles as possible. The international governing body is World Bowling which was founded in 1952 and is based in Arlington, Texas. It has more than 130 national association members.
