The Peace River is a tributary of the Mackenzie River.[1] Its headwaters are in British Columbia. Navigable sections are separated by rapids, at Hadley's Hope, Vermillion Chutes. It empties into a large delta, shared with the Athabasca River, at the western end of Lake Athabasca.
