Originally developed for the U.S. Army and now used by several nations, AN/MPQ-65 is a multifunction radar system for the MIM-104 Patriot missile. It is used in both aircraft, cruise missile and theater ballistic missile defense.
Its operating frequency is in the NATO G Band, between 4 and 6 GHz. The antenna is a passive electronically scanned array.
