I was borne in Italy and studied Economics and Statistics at the University of Siena, where I graduated cum laude in 2000. After that I went to The Netherlands and earned a PhD in Economics at Tilburg University in 2006. While working on my dissertation I became more and more unsatisfied with my life within academia and decided to make a big change. In 2004 I therefore started studying Graphic Design at the Art Academy "Sint Joost", in Breda. I earned my bachelor of arts in 2009. Since january 2010 I have started working on my own as an independent visual designer and artist. I work on commission as graphic designer and freelance teacher, I initiate independent projects, and I conduct research in the field of visual communication. My focus is especially on educational projects and projects related to social issues.
