I was born in Hong Kong in 1951 and studied Chemistry at the University of Hong Kong between 1971 -1974. I graduated top of the class and went to University of Cambridge, UK for my PH.D. in Inorganic Chemistry. I obtained my PH.D in 1979.  I worked in Hong Kong Government Laboratory as an analytical chemist for 8 years and immigrated to the US in 1990. I joined Scott Specialty Gases in 1990 and now a Technical Manager within the R & D Group. My interest in chemistry includes gases , thermodynamics, organometallics,  organic mechanism, analytical and spectroscopy. I am an amateur mathematician and statistician. I enjoyed reading modern history and philosophy.
