Amateur Historian with particular interest in Napoleonic History. As everyone who is interested in history has an angle (that is everyone) mine is that I tend to favour the French Military (Bonapartist) and the English Navy (background) current projects I am trying to fit in between raising my son are a collaborative project to translate the memoires of Gouvion St Cyr (a French Marshal) and a book on modern Napoleonic Historiography. Historiograpghy is the study of why historians write things and looking for the bias and reasons and is also a passion. Married and based in Leicestershire England.
