Grew up in Scappoose, Oregon and graduated from high school in 1962. Navy career 1962 to 1989. Retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. AA degree from Pensacola Jr College 1973. Nothing but the school of hard knocks since. IT department at Portland General Electric, Portland, OR 1989 to present. Learning on the job. I used to bowl a lot but no more. Both arms are almost the same length again. I golf - hit the ball, go look for it. Finishing with the same ball is a successful round. Most of my time away from home & work is spent commuting from St. Helens to Portland. I've been married to my high school sweetheart, Diane, since 1968. We have 7 grandchildren. I cut up wood with my saws - the only thing useful I've made so far is sawdust. Diane & I were charter members of the Tualatin Valley Cruiser Club (TVCC)
