Hello, I am 36 years old and I'm interested in the concept of citizendium. I don't know exactly what I have to contribute yet, but I hope to. Most of my educational background is in the humanities and social science; classical lit., comparative religious studies, and psychology in particular.  I've studied a million subjects and know something about just about any subject, but must admit to lacking mastery in any one. My intellectual strengths, in my opinion, would have to be solid logic, I am always willing change a 'truth' if I learn more about something, and a scary, intuitive grasp of human motivation. I am weakest in what I call 'hands on' knowledge. I'm not gifted in mechanical or practical subjects, ones that need a systematic approach. For that reason, hard sciences, engineering, and similar areas are hard for me.

Since college, I've mostly stuck to creative writing and reviewing others creative works in a few on-line writing sites that I belong to. On my own, I love to research anything that captures my interest and have a tendency to leap frog onward to related subjects. It's my never ending process of looking at things from new and different viewpoints and seeing the connections between seemingly unrelated topics. I love filling in gaps and am comfortable with what I 'know' and 'don't know'. What I lack in an exhaustive knowledge of any one subject, I think I make up for with a willingness to entertain ideas unfamiliar to me, researching it for the basic, hard facts, and a native intuition in certain areas.
