I am a Anglo American Australian PhD student at Victoria University of Wellington researching 'The evolution and persistance of ecological naivete and the island rule in new Zealand birds". I have a BSc in Zoology from Southampton University and a MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation from Leeds University and have worked field jobs in Uganda (studying primate cognition) Namibia (grasshopper genetics and evolution) and California and Hawaii (seabird ecology). I have written three featured articles in Wikipedia, as Sabine's Sunbird, albatross, seabird and Procellariidae. I've always been more interested in writing than fighting, and I'm interested to see how Citizendium evolves and compares, and am willing to help (but haven't given up on Wikipedia yet).
