I earned my bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Northwest Missouri State University in 1993. From 1993 to 2000 I worked as a programmer using various languages (C, Pascal, Basic, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms). From 2000 to present, I have been an Oracle Database Administrator. In that capacity, my experience includes Oracle database installations, upgrades, backup/recovery, replication, RAC, Application Server, and general support. I have been a presenter twice at the Omaha Oracle Users Group. I have a wife and a 2-year-old son. Additional interests include playing basketball, soccer, and volleybal; watching the Chiefs and Huskers; reading (mostly Sci Fi); photography; and tinkering with computers while doing my best to fix Ubuntu bug #1.
