Cheers was a highly successful U.S. situation comedy television series which ran from 1982 to 1993 on NBC, about the regulars of a bar in Boston, Massachusetts. The series was created and produced by James Burrows, Glen Charles, and Les Charles. Over the years, the show scooped 26 Emmys and six Golden Globe Awards. Characters from Cheers would go on to appear in spin-offs and other shows, notably Frasier (1993-2004).
