Was this the conference where BSL/P levels were defined?
I keep having that nagging memory that the current Microbiological Safety Levels of BSL1-4 were associated with P levels for experimental hazard. My nagging memory says that P5 and P6 were defined as too hazardous to be done on the planet; a P6 example was to encode Type A Cl. botulinum exotoxin inte normal enteric E. coli.
Is this a figment of my imagination? If not, what was an example of P5? Howard C. Berkowitz 07:04, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
