I earned a B.A. in biology with chemistry minor from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, where I studied structural features of DNA in complex with minor-groove binding drugs. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Kansas Medical Center. My primary area of expertise is biochemistry. I am especially interested in protein folding. Additional interests include bioinformatics (in particular, protein structure prediction), cell biology, evolutionary biology, computer programming, and theology/philosophy of religion. | I earned a B.A. in biology with chemistry minor from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, where I studied structural features of DNA in complex with minor-groove binding drugs.
