I have a dictionary project running on the internet for several years now, the "Hypermedia Glossary of Genetic Terms". My idea was to present in one screen not only the definition of the main term itself but also the definition of secondary terms that you might need to understand (hopefully avoiding to get lost/loose the focus by clicking on a link for further explanation).

I have a degree and a doctoral in Horticultural Sciences from Technische Universitaet Muenchen in Weihenstephan, Germany. Now I am information specialist and subject librarian in agriculture, biology and food sciences; my special subject is genetics and (plant) breeding. As I am also teaching information literacy, I'm thus interested in educational topics but not expert.
