David, I used to do a lot of laser surgery, with KTP, CO2 lasers, through Zeiss scopes of various kinds, what references are you using for the word "microdissection"? [[User:Nancy Sculerati|Nancy Sculerati]] 19:13, 14 May 2007 (CDT) Laser dissection through a microscope is not a proprietary thing- I think we should get the link out of the text. Would you like to write about the topic more? I may be able to help you.[[User:Nancy Sculerati|Nancy Sculerati]] 19:16, 14 May 2007 (CDT)

Reading the content so far, it seems to be from the perspective of genomics. See Laser-capture dissection. Although Judith Kimball pioneered laser microdissection for developmental biology a long time ago. Nancy's description above sounds more like that angle from a surgical perspective. Laser-capture might be its own article? Chris Day (talk) 19:56, 14 May 2007 (CDT)
