This template is meant to standardize the way we deal with (not) crediting the content that appeared on Wikipedia pages and then is released by the same author on Citizendium.

The template is put on the relevant talk page under the checklist. Usage: {{WPauthor|your claim|~~~~}}. The use of the ~~~~ puts your signature and the date on the template. If you do not specify 'your claim' a standard claim will be issued:

I released this article to the Wikipedia. In particular, the identical text that appears there is of my authorship. Therefore, no credit for Wikipedia content on Citizendium applies.

Note: Due to the syntax used for templates, you cannot have an '=' in the 'your claim' text. In particular, this includes in a URL, such as a link to a specific version of an article on Wikipedia. You can work around this by using the {{=}} template; i.e. to include a URL such as http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anatoly_Marchenko&oldid=151409500 in the 'your claim' text, you must encode it as:

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title{{=}}Anatoly_Marchenko&oldid{{=}}151409500
