James R. Sheehan, born 1951 in East Tennessee, has enjoyed a dual career as a technical writer in support of the I.T. industry and as an educator, teaching literature and English usage to college students.
Though trained in literature and computer science, Mr. Sheehan enjoys a wide range of interests and has written wiki articles about both geological features and literary characters. He takes great pride in using correct usage and grammar, and perceives his role mainly as correcting minor usage errors committed by other authors.
Mr. Sheehan took his Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 1974. His Master’s degree, also in English, was taken from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Mr. Sheehan currently works for Unisys Corporation in Baton Rouge, editing and composing technical computer-related documentation for systems that support that State of Louisiana’s Medicaid program.
His hobbies are caring for and training his Shih Tzus, collecting music recordings, and gardening.
