Hi, I'm Brian Clements. I currently am a music student over at University of the Arts in Philadelphia. I am going for my performance degree and my MAT in one additional year. Naturally, my expertise is in all things music, both performance and theory. I've had teaching experience with inner city kids in LA teaching them music theory and how to play certain instruments. I also have some experience with the technical side of recording, mixing, midi and the like.
In addition to music, I am a complete technology and news buff. I'm always reading up on the latest science and technology news and am always watching/reading video and online news. Other related hobbies include building/modifying computers, reading (usually philosophy, science, or metaphysics genre). I'm also a huge fan of fixing education issues (hence the involvement in this project) and how the internet can help it on a global scale.

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start. You'll probably want to know how to get started as an author. Just look at Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. Be sure to stay abreast of events via Twitter. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any administrator for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun!

You can find some more information about our collaboration groups if you follow this link Citizendium_Pilot:Discipline_Workgroups.You can always ask me on my talk page or others about how to proceed or any other question you might have.
